MALDI Mass Spectrometry Imaging: molecular snaphshots of biochemical systems

MALDI Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MALDI-MSI) is a recent technique allowing the in situ mapping of biomolecules. From proteins down to drugs, applications are found in different fields of research such as biology, medecine or even forensics. After the presentation of the principle of the technique, results obtained with MALDI MSI in the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory of ULg will be exposed.
