"Background information" offers additional resources to better understand the course or to put the course in a broader perspective. It is not exam material.

- Based on the input received during the discussions of the first-round presentations, and based on new insights you may have obtained, you are welcome to add modifications to your report 1.
You can do this by adding a separate section to report 2. This section should clearly mention the differences with report 1. This separate section will count for 5 marks (out of the max 35 that can be obtained for HW1).
Report 2 (without the section referring to HW1) will count for 30 marks. During the exam you will be able to earn another 5 marks for HW2.
