Bonus system

General rules

• The exam is graded on a maximum of 20 points.
• A bonus of at most 2 points can be obtained for active participation in the problem sessions.
• The bonus will be added to the exam grade to obtain the final grade, which will of course be limited to the usual maximum of 20.
  

Obtaining bonus points

• During problem sessions, an exercise to be solved in the classroom will be given.
• Turning in the solved exercise will earn a bonus of 0.2 points (correct or almost correct solution) or 0.1 points (good try).

Computing the total bonus

• Bonus points obtained during  problem sessions are added together.
• Once a total of 2 points is reached, no additional bonus is given, but you are still welcome to hand in your exercises.
