Research

My research interest are control of nonlinear systems and of large distributed systems, with a pronounced taste in applications. I also like to focus on applications in space exploration and astronomy.

I am mainly working on 3 topics:

Control of an induction motor: anti wind-up issues, stability issues at low speed
Study of a galvanizing line regulator for IRM group.
E-ELT M1 control strategies study for ESO:
The future European Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT) is a 42m wide telescope project of the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO). The primary mirror (M1) is made of 984 actuated segments. Our work is to evaluate control strategies proposed by ESO, to bring new strategies, and to validate them.
