Research
Systems Biology, from data analysis over modelling to model analysis as well as the development of system theoretical methodologies. In particular:
- Modeling and analysis of signal transduction networks in mammalian
cells
(e.g. TNF-α induced apoptosis) - Modeling of the dynamics of the organisms (e.g. sponges or rats)
- Image processing of fluorensence microscopy images towards quantitative and dynamic concentration measurements
- Development of parameter estimation methods for biochemical reaction networks
- Robustness and performance measures for biological systems
Research Group
- Dirk Fey (PhD student): Development of parameter estimation methods for biochemical reaction networks; Modelling of rat learning in the Morris water maze
- Laura Trotta (PhD student): Performance criteria and robustness in biological bistable models at the example of the apoptosis process
Collaborators
