Workshop
We have the pleasure to invite you to a day long workshop on nonsmooth optimization in machine learning to be held on March 04, 2013 in the Salle Académique at University of Liège in the heart of the city.
Registration to the workshop is free but mandatory. It includes coffee breaks and lunch for the participants.
The workshop will focus on current research in large-scale optimization motivated by statistical inference and machine learning problems. The workshop is organized by Rodolphe Sepulchre (ULg), P.A. Absil (UCL), and Yurii Nesterov (UCL), in the framework of the FRFC project "Nonsmooth optimization on manifolds". It is also sponsored by the IAP network on Dynamical Systems, Control and Optimization.
