Sleep apnea syndrome diagnosis by analysis of the cardiac interbeat RR time series

• ABSTRACT:
  An automatic tool is proposed to help clinicians in the diagnosis of sleep apnea syndrome. The method uses an elementary signal processing of the heart interbeat $RR$ time series, offering the possibility of screening the pathology on the basis of a portable and inexpensive device that can be used at the patient's home.
