Laboratory Exercises

The laboratories are mandatory. Groups of three students will use Quanser's "DC Motor Control Trainer" (www.quanser.com). To familiarise yourself, read the introduction that describes the general principles of the dynamics of an electric motor, as well as Sections B.2.3, B.2.4 and B.2.5 of the Quanser manual on the secure web page. The notes for the different lab session can be found in the table above

Exam:

The written exam takes place in January and counts for 100% of the final mark.

The exam in the August/September session will consist of a written and an oral exam.
