Welcome to the BioMod website.

We are a multidisciplinary research team originating from a joint venture between the Systems and Modeling research unit (Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) and the research unit of Animal Genomics (Faculty of Veterinarian Medicine). We are part of the GIGA centre of applied genoproteomics of the University of Liège.

Our mission is to provide high quality research, services to wet labs and industry, and education at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the fields of bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics and systems biology. We use and develop computational, mathematical, and statistical approaches to model and analyze biological data, from DNA to biological processes to healthcare systems.
